    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Quite fun, and often interesting, but there are odd periods where you have little to do and it can be a little dull.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The lawyers and especially the trainees made a real effort to make you feel comfortable and to make sure you enjoyed your time there.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • All the support you could have wanted, although sometimes you felt a little too intimidated to ask for help with the work.

  • Could vary hugely from busy non-stop all day, to spending entire days just surfing the web...

  • Very little responsibility, but this is perhaps understandable.

  • Useful skills, although many of the research techniques etc we were already familiar with.

  • Fun and friendly, but always professional.
