  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very enjoyable. Well run, interesting work and good social events too.

  • Colleagues made me feel part of the team from day one. I was given relevant work that added to my team.

  • My line manager was highly supportive, particularly in getting me exposure to the rest of the business.

  • I always had tasks or reading to be doing. Towards the end of the internship I was very busy with project deadlines

  • I was given a good level of responsibility, it was quite a fast learning curve

  • Highly useful development of my presenation skills, excel skills, and general communication skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very busy on my floor, but people are all friendly and happy to talk to the intern. Very little evidence of a 'facetime' culture.

  • Very well organised from HR, and my team seemed well prepared for me too.

  • Very good level of investment in me from the firm across training week, various meetings with senior managers, and in skills sessions.
