  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed my placement very much as I included myself into afield of a previous interest

  • I have been give the same or similar responsibilities as contract of permant staff.

  • I did not require a lot of support but what I needed they were there to help.

  • Days can vary between busy and very busy. after you get into the swing of things you should never have a boring day with nothing to do.

  • I have been individually tasked with order new equipment and developing test method into audio analysis.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • They have helped me develop as a person, and prefessionally they have given me an insight into the automotive world. I couldnt ask for more.

  • There is a sense of camaraderie, but it is still a serious feild of work, people knew when to buckle down.

  • You do have be somewhat independant in finding your own way, this seemed to common with even contract and peromanent staff.

  • I recieved the appropiate training.

  • Seniors and managers have expressed )verbally and in written form) a desire to hire me again after university

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Graduate and Placement commiette arranges nights out. Ample amount of placement students and graduates for you to socialise with.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Lived in Cranfield, general amenities are resonable but cost of Taxi or bus into Bedford/milton keynes meant I miussed out on several socialising events.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Milton keynes has about 3 clubs? Revs, wonderworld, pink punters... if you can count them on one hand it is not a good sign. a stark contrast to student city Leeds. However, many sporting activities, rock climbing, snowzone, Lakes, karting provide activities at an expense.
