  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my internship and would highly recommend it to others.

  • I felt very valued by many of my colleagues. The work the gave me reflected this.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My managers and supervisors were keen to see me develop and invested time and guidance in me. This was one of the best aspects of the internship.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • A big effort was made to keep me busy with productive work. Some days were quite quiet but overall I was kept busy.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was keen to get involved and develop and so I was given more responsibility as the internship progressed.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My degree subject is not too related, but undoubtedly the skills will come in use in other areas and afterwards.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere is fantastic. Bdo is a great place to work. People are clearly happy here and that manifests itself in a very positive working environment and atmosphere in the office.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Clearly a lot of effort and preparation went into the internship. A great induction and training week in Birmingham followed by weekly rotations gave me great exposure to the company and industry.

  • Between the training week and guidance from managers, the firm was certainly keen to invest in us.

  • Very! There is great career prospects here.

  • Yes

  • London is not the cheapest area of course, but it is manageable.
