    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The level and range of work given gave an amazing insight into every part of the firm's job structure from trainee through to partner/client interviews.

  • Everyone was very welcoming and supportive and took the time to explain the context of any work they gave which was very important.

  • As above, I was given the context of my work and also feedback after it was completed.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very close to perfect, there were only a couple of occasions where I had to go looking for work and this was beneficial for meeting everyone anyway.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I feel I was given as much responsibility as possible given the limitations due to qualification/oversight requirements.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It was very helpful being able to practice some of the skills I had learned at university and seeing how my efforts were applied.

  • Everyone knows everyone and seems to get on amazingly well which makes for a great environment even when the pressure's on.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • A couple of events had to be moved around and this was done excellently with everyone kept well up to date.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • As much as possible for a 2 week placement I feel a great effort was made both in the office and during the placement activities to help me develop.

  • Would certainly like a job with them!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Really excellent, the icebreaking sessions worked very well and we've been together enough that we can go out as a group at the end of each week to wind down.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London's great for socialising but does come with a price tag.
