The Role
I have really enjoyed my internship so far. The atmosphere in the office is great which makes the job even more enjoyable.
Given the duration of my stay, I feel very welcomed by my team and the people that I have met at L'Oreal.
People have been really patient and understanding. L'Oreal really makes sure that you feel comfortable at work which has encouraged me to ask as many questions as I wanted and made me feel like people had my back.
Mondays/Tuesdays are usually busier days. Having said that, there is always something to do, whether its work given by your manager or things you want to undertake yourself.
As a summer intern, there is only so much workload and responsibilities that can be given to you. However, I found that if you work efficiently and if you are proactive, you become more reliable and people come to you for advice/help more often.
Massively. Everyday I learn something new, whether it's something excel related or about the business itself. It is so useful to learn how to apply in-class learnings to real life scenarios.
The Company
Very well organised! The training provided throughout my internship was very useful and helped massively.
I really feel like L'Oreal has invested a lot in each and every intern in terms of training and assisiting in personal development. However, I also strongly believe that it is up to the intern to make the most out of their stay at L'Oreal as there is only so much the company can do for us in just a few weeks.
