The Role
Really enjoying it, and equally importantly I am learning loads - managing my own projects from the start!
Less in my studies directly as I am not studying business, my certainly in my management of university societies and most definitely in terms of life skills and job skills.
The Company
Focused but very friendly. Everyone is hard-working but willing to give you time.
A great structured internship scheme with regular training's to keep your development in check, but with heavy emphasis on learning on the job to ensure you are getting a real business experience
Lots of training, one-on-one work with your manager - you are learning from and working directly with L'Oreal employees rather than being isolated with other interns

Very appealing - L'Oreal has proven it is a company that invests in its employees, and one where its employees learn quickly and are trusted from the get go with managing large projects independently
The Culture
Yes, weekly intern drinks as well as team drinks. There are also many sporting clubs you can get involved in. Weekly social events organised - from dinners to going out
£60 per week - it is not cheap as your are in London, I commuted from home so saved a lot of money on rent, but paid around £7 a day on transport. However the canteen is very affordable, and all work-organised drinks/lunches paid for. However things your organised informally with colleges you will need to pay London prices for food/drinks
Good if you want to go, but at the same time, if clubbing is not your thing you are not alienated from not going
Sports events, yoga, drinks, weekly dinners - the company provides a plethora of opportunities to socialise with you team and the company at large outside of the office
