The Role
The people have made my internship and the technical skills I've learnt are invaluable
Given the responsibility like an actual employee I suppose I do feel valued.
My colleagues were very helpful with my questions and were patient with me explaining things to me
I may not be busy for a period of time but when the systems and work comes in, I'm busy on a more project/task basis
A number of projects and task were given to me to take it and responsibility was given as if I was more of an employee than just an intern
More technical skills were developed to carry myself on for the future
The Company
At the month end period, it gets busy but as a L'oreal intern, there are many perks for us within the office and work life balance is on point!
Quite well organised for me personally as I had most of my logins ready, however, I was still restricted on some access due to IT work overload
We had Lunch and Learn sessions which I feel are good to see the other aspects of the company and not only the roles within your team
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would have loved to apply for the Management Trainee Scheme but due to the work to right visa requirements, unfortunately will not be able to apply in the near future
The Culture
We have a intern committee looking out for all the interns which is good as socials are organised within the group
Being in Central London, it is expected to be expensive (rent and social expenses)
Central London! Amazing!
There are sports days that we can get involved it with from a social point of view, yes
