  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The vacation scheme was well organised and with plenty of social activities as well as legal work.

    • The fee earners at the firm where very welcoming and happy to share experiences, give advice and get you involved in their day to day tasks.

    • All tasks that were required to be performed where well explained from the outset and it was possible to contact the fee earners to resolve any queries.

    • The work does vary depending on the work load of your mentor during the vacation scheme.

    • There was a lot of responsibility given for the delegated tasks.

    • The vacation scheme was incredibly useful to gain an insight into the legal career.

    • It is impossible to describe the perfect mix of social/ professional atmosphere in the office.

    • The vacation scheme was well organised although at points you were more involved in various skills sessions than assisting the fee earners.

    • The firm provides the standard benefits that are provided to vacation scheme students and trainee lawyers in the City.

    • Having completed a further assessment center at the end of the vacation scheme, I am currently a trainee solicitor at the firm.
