  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Work interesting and challenging most of the time however some dry spells exist.

  • Very friendly workplace and strong encouragement for individual empowerment.

  • Management always willing to help, some higher management not as friendly.

  • Took a while to get things started but good once projects were assigned.

  • Left to own devices with support available should I need it.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Other students were fun however hiring freeze has saw a much older workforce otherwise who are not always up for fun.

  • A lot of support staff available and information prior to starting. More information on accomodation would be nice if you're not from the area.

  • A lot of instructor led and online training courses.

  • Good company to work for but I am not a fan of the area.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yeah!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Taxis extremely expensive however rental was a lot cheaper in Stevenage than London - £250-£300 each per month excl. bills

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Not good at all! London isn't far and easy to get to by train (25 mins)

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Nothing organised by the workplace outside of sports and nothing in the surrounding areas took my interest.
