The Role
Every second of being in the office was always a great experience, learning new things on a day to day basis. I'm glad I found something my role because it was something i was really interested in, and doing it for a year at a company such as Warner Bros. made it even better.
Despite being one of the smaller in the office, I was instantly never treated like an 'intern'; I felt like I was a pivotal cog in the team, which in all instances made me feel valued. People didn't just go straight to my line manager who then gave me the work, people came to me directly on a day to day basis to help them find the required research for any project they were under taking.
I was never in any doubt from when starting that there would be a lack of support from anyone in the company, if there was a problem that I needed solving, my line manager/SVP/ other members of the TV department would always find some sort time to help me out.
This always varied during specific parts of the year, as a new show launched/ended the office could become relatively busy however during the mid seasons where the work load was less was the time for the team to work on specific projects which don't specific deadlines however are always vital.
Due to a smaller department there was a high level of responsibility. If my line manager was away for any reason, technically I was running the show for EMEA research.
Working with excel and other office based applications really developed my skills on the computer as using information based systems allowed me to develop my research skills which I believe will really help me when it comes to things like Dissertation!
The Company
People were always friendly, It didn't feel like the stereotypical office space where everyone is silent and all you can hear are keyboard noises, people were always up for a chat making a great working atmosphere.
Very well, everything was virtually ready for me when i arrived, no problems at all
Many learning and development activities throughout the year including: presenting me, what type of person are you, CV writing, time management and introduction to Warner Bros.

Former Interns are always made aware of new jobs before it goes on the general market which always gives us a good opportunity for post uni employment.
The Culture
Perfect social scene, with around 50 Interns at Warner Bros. There was a social group of around 20 other Interns all living in the same area of London which made time when not in work great!
London. Its not cheap!
Living in London there is always a vast amount of night-life events for people of any type of taste to enjoy.
It being London there were always activities to get involved with. Whether its with work volunteering to work at London Comic Con, or just simply socialising doing other activities.
