The Role
A fantastic placement for anybody who wants to build a career around the gaming industry and gain experience with being an analyst.
I felt very valued during my time here at WB.
My managers were incredibly supportive, giving me insightful knowledge about the industry and business practices. Giving me regular performance feedback.
During my placement there were many new title releases. Pre and post-launch is when I was the most busy. There were quiet days, however this was a great time to explore your own projects and use your own initiative. In addition many times there were ad-hoc requests from different teams in many regions.
The amount of responsibility over the placement increased over time as I grew more confident with the different software that we used and reports that we produced.
I have developed great understanding of different software (e.g. Excel, SAP). There are great intern training days that cover various areas - e.g. Presentation / Personality tests
