    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I look back on it with fondness, but at the time I wasn't too enthralled. I liked the job but would have liked something more high profile.

    • Everyone was lovely and helped me out quite a few times when I messed up or couldn't figure something out.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • My line manager and the marketing director were always there to give me guidance and support if ever I had any problems. Though I was trusted to get on with my job independently.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I worked around the festive season (the busiest period) and the amount of emails and orders was hectic and outstanding. I must admit I did like the constant rush though.

    • Not really much responsibility which I wish i had have recieved.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Since doing the placement I am much more commited to doing well so I get a good job.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • There was a nice peaceful atmosphere. No drama [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] (as much as I'm aware!!)

    • Very well organised. There was a steady agenda and I had a planner of what was expected of me throughout.

    • I was booked on one course which usually I would have had to pay for out of my own pocket.

    • I would love to return, but only in a higher position.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I went for drinks with them every week and had a ball!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Socially, it was amazing and so much to do, but financially it was horrific. Soo expensive!

    • I had many a good night out on the town!

    • Lots of exclusive gifts and gigs!
