  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My time at Unilever was both fun and challenging. The culture is great and the brands are amazing to work with.

  • I never felt like a placement student, I felt respected and like a valuable member of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had lots of people willing to give me support throughout my time. My line manager didnt always have enough time, but I never felt unsupported.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy. I never had nothing to do and was constantly being challenged to deadlines. This has helped me build on a wide range of skills.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A huge amount of responsibility was given to me. And the role i took on was a full time role from the very begining, which was great that Unilever trust Placement students enough

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills i have learnt and developed are invaluable and ones that i will continue to use and develop through my whole career. I've learnt more on this placement than i could in any lecture. Its been fantastic.

  • Its fast paced but casual at the same time. Good buzz and friendly.

  • Perhaps could have been more organised in places, but overall good

  • Very, the Future Leaders Scheme (grad scheme) is something you can fast track onto from placement and then move up the business quickly

  • I didnt really socialise much with them
