  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Absolutely loved it, best work related experience I've had.

  • To some extent, there is a lot of independent working so you must be the type who is able to work solely by yourself.

  • To some extent, support is only given when asked.

  • Extremely busy, always something to do, problem to be solved!

  • Total responsibility from day one which is great as it shows the company trusts you to represent Hays.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Loads of transferable business skills from learning business etiquette to negotiating business deals. The skills I've learnt will take me through my final year of University to apply practical skills in the workplace.

  • Always buzzing, great atmosphere everyday which makes it a great workplace to be involved in.

  • Extremely organised, they have a set 12 month plan which has been followed through from day one.

  • Training and development is at the forefront of Hays, they invest so much time in training you on a daily basis and also send you to London for a two week training course.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Extremely appealing as there promotion scheme is fantastic and your hard work always gets recognised. In addition if you're successful at the end of the placement they will offer you a job to come back to which is really exciting.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very much work hard, work harder. Didn't really go out much during the year as always working and then too tired to go out.
