    • In general, I had a very good balance in my workload but there were times, especially in the first month where I often had nothing to do.

    • I was given the right amount of responsibility during my placement.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I certainly learned a lot while carrying out my internship but I would have liked the opportunity to undertake more training and development courses while on the internship but this was not available.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere in the office is great, everyone is very friendly and approachable and there is a great social aspect to working there also.

    • The internship was not very well organized and it seemed that they were not prepared for my arrival at first.

    • There was little or no opportunity to get on training or development courses as an intern as places were reserved for permanent employees. But the company does have a wide range of self-taught courses available online.

    • I got a permanent role with the company at the end of my internship.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes there is a great social scene in the company. There are lots of employee engagement events and also a young employee network which organizes a number of events and outings.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • It is very expensive to do this in Dublin.

    • There is a very good nightlife.

    • Yes there were a number of events organized and I was also a member of the sports and social club and got involved in a number of activities.
