  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • My favourite law firm so far. Very informative and the people were the friendliest. There was not an atmosphere of constant work and the people there genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing

    • I was able to ask anyone for help or more information and they went out of their way if they could not answer the question themselves to find someone who could

    • They showed me the essential skills they required as well as ideal waya to complete their applications

    • Speaking to a range of people in a variety of areas and a bredth of expertise was particularly helpful

    • They were definitely not like a typical American firm and I was able to see how the culture was reflected by the people - helpful, friendly etc

    • I very much enjoyed the whole day. I was becoming unsure wherher to work in the City but this insight convinced me that I wanted to work here

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I think if you had to travel from a long distance you could have asked to be reimbursed

    • There was a networking lunch to talk to trainees and associates, as well as a 'panel' where we were able to also meet partners, associates and trainees and ask them questions

    • We were told about all the different pro bono activities as well as other clubs that Reed Smith had. It was not just a list but we were actually explained what they all did by the people running them

    • Definitely. If you're not sure whether a City Law firm would be the place for you, this is by far the modt comprehensive and informative insight I have been to which would really aid your decision
