  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • given numerous opportunity's to develop my interests and gain industry knowledge

  • Could not have asked for a better team to work in, I no longer feel like a placement student but one of the team

  • Weekly one to ones to track my progress and given any support that I need

  • Relatively busy, but work load is closely monitored to make sure that I haven't been given too much. Being given too little is never an option!!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Have been given my own projects that I am solely responsible for. Been on supplier visits where I have been asked questions not just there to sit and listen

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My time here has been valuable to everything that I will continue to do in the future. It has helped me to become more disciplined, read others, become more professional.

  • Light mood where everyone knows eachother

  • Placement students are on a course to develop their soft skills outside of the office environment, Colleagues within the department are used to having placement students so know how to work with them

  • They invested in me with a view to become a future employee. So I have been given every opportunity to develop and learn

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Future employment looks good with the previous 2 placement students on track with the graduate programme and I am heading in the same direction being kept on one day a week through my final year at university

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There is around 25 placement students within the building so there are always people around

  • Very cheap area to live in

  • There are a few nightclubs

  • Many of the employees play football together etc
