    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight was a fantastic opportunity to learn about Rothschild and their GFA department. It fulfilled all my expectations and went above and beyond what I had expected. Very positive experience overall.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt very valued at all times. Every one was willing to help, from junior analysts all the way up to Managing Directors.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • A sufficient amount. All guidance was available, all one had to do was ask for it. I met up with over 3 analysts and MD's to help my group with our presentation.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Very informative in terms of future career development as it provided a solid understanding of the finance industry. In terms of skills it helped replicate to some degree what M&A analysts would do on a day to day basis and thus will help tailor my degree to future needs.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Incredibly well structured. There was a clear program and at no one point did I feel as there was nothing to be doing. Packed and busy days were things which made the insight so great.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Overall it was very positive, with everyone willing to lend a helping hand and letting interns know that they were actually valued.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Quite heavily. We had IT and Presentation workshops which were incredibly useful when presenting and developing a pitch.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The work shadowing sessions proved very useful when understanding what employees did on a day to day basis and thus in this regard the insight helped to a great extent in understanding what a full time role would be like.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Very useful. The culture and way Rothschild was different was emphasised very clearly and one really got a feel for it as well.

    5/5
