  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very much enjoyed the networking sessions and the game. For someone who was unaware of what central banking entailed it was a good day. Furthermore getting the Chief Economist in was fantastic.

    • I feel the value of the people who came to speak to us in the sessions was splendid. It made us feel like we were in a professional company.

    • It was broad and i feel what was very helpful was the insights and interview and application techniques given.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have had problems with interviews. Therefore that particular bit which focused on how to apply for jobs and in interviews was very helpful.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Could have been timed and structured better in regards to the order of the day. We missed out on certain interview points and ran over at times.

    • Very good atmosphere for such a day. Fun but focused.

    • They gave us a headstart in how to apply for the bank of england in future so in that regards it was good.

    • I feel as if i could picture what working at the bank of england would feel like which is a commendment to the day.

    • The distinguisment between working in a central and investment bank helped me to understand the bank of england culture.

    • The insight was very much informative. It provided a brief idea about the company and the roles.

    • I may have my expenses reimbursed soon.

    • Two different events for networking throughout the day and employees were very forthcoming.

    • Good, opportunity to enjoy lunch and a drink with fellow perspective employees and current employees.
