  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I am really enjoying my placement, I'm learning a lot and I'm seeing how a large corporation works together too gain the best results.

  • I feel like I've been given a lot of responsibility by my department throughout the placement so far. They haven't just treated me like someone who knows less than them.

  • I've been given support from my first day, I've always felt like I can ask if I need any help and they're helping to review my progress.

  • Extremely busy everyday, especially at month, quarter and year end.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I have been given a huge amount of responsibility by everyone in the department since the first day.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This placement has helped me to develop my understanding of my course greatly and will give me a huge advantage when starting a new job in the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere was friendly, occasionally loud and chatty but at times where it was really busy it was very quiet.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was well organised, I got trained by the intern before me, however there could have been a bit more structure - however I started at quarter end so this was an understandably busy period.

  • The company didn't spend that much time training me, I was trained by the intern before me.

  • Very appealing future opportunities.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes - we all did things together on a weekly basis.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Very expensive - London - couldn't really afford to socialise that much or if we did it was somewhere as cheap as possible which is limited in London.

  • The nightlife was amazing.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I joined the Disney Netball team which lasted over the Summer.
