  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Accenture has an amazing working culture, that is youthful and vibrant, and you are very well looked after during your time

  • Very much felt part of the team by the end of the internship and was in fact sorry to leave.

  • The workload was challenging but not overwhelming, as I had expected it to be.

  • I would have preferred more independent responsibility, but you are very committed to the team effort.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I acquired were highly relevent to my Management course, as it is of huge value to have some relevent practical experience under your belt to understand better the academic theory.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Brilliant! You worked hard, but the group I worked with never lost its sense of fun.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The overall experience that HR organise for you is unbeatable. Outside of your day to day work, you are given exposure to a variety of different aspects of the firm, from charity work to socials. This was the most impressive aspect.

  • You are very quickly brought up to speed, and Accenture invest alot of time and energy in your own personal development.

  • I'm looking forward to starting with them. Their level of investment in graduates, such as training, would be difficult to match.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • the interns bonded from day one, and met at least twice a week from then on, within and without company organised socials.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is inevitably expensive, but you are paid well.

  • London is London, its unbeatable.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Many, the Great British Beer Festival and kayaking to name a few.
