    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my internship. I feel it is giving me a large amount of skills that I can apply to both my university life and (probably more importantly) my future career.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I feel like I am taken seriously within the team and that my opinion is valid.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I could not ask for any more support by my supervisors. If I need to talk or have a difficult conversation (for example about not meeting deadlines) they are more than happy to talk with me. It is a team effort and I am not made to feel alone in my project.

  • I have many different projects on the go to amalgamate into one large, overarching project.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I am the owner of my project and take responsibility for it. I am currently around half way through and I still have a lot of guidance from my supervisors.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My placement is extremely organised. When i arrived i was given all of the details of what my year would consist of with deadlines However, this is flexible due to the business need. It was also very organised with regards to a week (or 2) of on-boarding and health and safety to get everybody qualified for the job.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
