  • I would highly suggest doing a placement at L'Oreal as you are exposed to amazing opportunities.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Interns are treated as a member of the team. You are fully integrated into your brand and have real tasks from day one.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I sat next to my line manager so we kept in contact alot. I worked on a small team and there was little support when my manager wasn't present.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There are peaks and troughs but if you keep on top of your work you will be able to handle it.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • From the start you are given a tremendous amount of responsibility, which is a good thing as your confidence goes through the roof from the first week. However, there is alot of pressure to perform well when you are a new employee.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have gained a lot of workplace and personal skills. Time management and prioritising skills will help in final year of university and later on in my career.
