  • Valuable work was given to me from the start.

  • Colleagues and managers were always helpful answering questions.

  • It varied, sometimes reasonably busy but some periods were quiet.

  • Entrusted with some quite high-level work early on.

  • Not relevant to my degree studies, some useful skills such as working to deadlines and understanding how a professional environment operates.

  • Quite relaxed and fun.

  • It was fairly well structured with various training days etc timetabled in by HR.

  • Some training days, but they weren't very helpful.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Large group of interns so quite decent socially.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Socialising was good but the cost of living very high, especially in Canary Wharf.

  • Canary Wharf quite busy after work, and tube connections to central London pretty easy.

  • Reasonably, but you had to actively look for them yourself.
