The Role
Valuable work was given to me from the start.
The work I completed seemed to be valued and used by others.
Colleagues and managers were always helpful answering questions.
It varied, sometimes reasonably busy but some periods were quiet.
Entrusted with some quite high-level work early on.
Not relevant to my degree studies, some useful skills such as working to deadlines and understanding how a professional environment operates.
The Company
Quite relaxed and fun.
It was fairly well structured with various training days etc timetabled in by HR.
Some training days, but they weren't very helpful.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Have a job offer.
The Culture
Large group of interns so quite decent socially.
Socialising was good but the cost of living very high, especially in Canary Wharf.
Canary Wharf quite busy after work, and tube connections to central London pretty easy.
Reasonably, but you had to actively look for them yourself.
