  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I enjoyed my insight day at BDO, It was casual but still professional. I gained valuable information on that day, I am well pleased I got an invitation to attend.

  • The day itself displays the value of the organisation, they took their time in answering everybody's question and the graduates shared a detailed experience on working for BDO,

  • the insight day was full of information and guidance on how to fill an application form, we also focused on interview competency based questions, numerical and verbal reasoning test. I now understand the importance of taking your time when applying for internships

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Attending BDO's insight day was something out of my comfort zone. I was expecting a group exercise and presentation on the day which they certainly delivered, been able to participate in the presentation gave a boost to my confidence. Now that I know the feel of a corporate environment I am confident to work into one without feeling too intimidated. I think confidence is the main thing you need to be where you want to be.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The day was well structured. Firstly, an introduction to the company. the current graduates explained their day to day activities in their various departments, they also explained the social life and interaction between employees and partners which was quite interesting. Like I explained earlier, there was a group discussion and exercise etc. And most importantly, they provided lunch.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I like the friendly interactions between the graduates and students that was present on the insight day. I think its a fantastic way to get people to relax and be themselves. I would like to work for BDO in the nearest future

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • It was a one day event so there was no training . However we were very well informed on how BDO train and invest in their employees.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • it was a one day event. Though the graduates explained their roles and daily duties. So, I am aware of few things that I could be doing if I get an internship.

  • BDO takes value in their culture, attending the insight day only gave me a minimal insight about the culture. Although I am aware that the culture of the company is the reason behind BDO's sucess

  • I was a bit unsure of my career path before attending the insight day. After the graduates explanation of what their job entails, I am now confident in the career path I've chosen

  • It was okay, It was just only a small group and few graduates present.

  • BDO allows it employees get involve with charity work, dinner , games etc.

  • I will definitely, Its a nice place first of all, the people are friendly and they are always ready to answer your questions and supply more information
