The Role
I enjoy the different challenges I have to face on a daily basis.
Everyone at Unilever is very friendly and are always willing to help, we also have time to socialise as a team outside of work.
There is lots of support. I have a line manager, a buddy (who is a current grad) and a contact manager.
Everyday is different and there is always something to do!
I feel like I have a lot of responsibility, within my first 2 weeks I was running interviews.
I feel now that I have experienced the working environment I will be a lot more disciplined in my university work and I will be able to manage my time much more effectively.
The Company
Unilever is really relaxed and you are trusted to get on with your work. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help out.
My placement was well organised and we had a great introduction weekend which allowed all the interns to make friends. You are also given a very structured work plan which is reviewed on a regular basis.
I feel I have had the opportunity to develop a wide variety of my skills whist on placement and I have been offered lots of opportunities.
