  • I enjoy the different challenges I have to face on a daily basis.

  • Everyone at Unilever is very friendly and are always willing to help, we also have time to socialise as a team outside of work.

  • There is lots of support. I have a line manager, a buddy (who is a current grad) and a contact manager.

  • Everyday is different and there is always something to do!

  • I feel like I have a lot of responsibility, within my first 2 weeks I was running interviews.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel now that I have experienced the working environment I will be a lot more disciplined in my university work and I will be able to manage my time much more effectively.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Unilever is really relaxed and you are trusted to get on with your work. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help out.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My placement was well organised and we had a great introduction weekend which allowed all the interns to make friends. You are also given a very structured work plan which is reviewed on a regular basis.

  • I feel I have had the opportunity to develop a wide variety of my skills whist on placement and I have been offered lots of opportunities.

  • Very! Not only is the graduate scheme one of the best it also offers a very competitive salary.

  • All the placement students and graduates are very sociable!

  • Living in London is expensive but worth the experience.

  • There are few pubs but its not amazing. Everyone goes into London which is 30 minutes on the train.

  • Yes, volunteering activities and sports events such as runs.
