The Role
Such a friendly company, lots of room to learn and grow, improve skills and learn new ones :)
Everyone was very welcoming and respected my opinion as a native english speaker
I could not have asked for better support and the continual learning process has been well thought through
During wedding season, work flow was continuous. Out of wedding season I was given monthly missions to work on in case work flow was low
I was the sole point of contact for clients at MilleMercisMariage. I coordinated the translation of the french website into English and was indepdant in my work. Help was there if I felt I needed it.
My french has improved 10 fold and my understanding of simple business concepts has been solidified. I have also been exposed to areas outside of my degree programme which I now feel confident with and will carry on to my graduate job
The Company
Like a family, both inside and outside of work
It took a while to get contracts signed etc, but in general, very well organised
I was very surprised at the amount of attention I was given and how much emphasis the company put on training its interns
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I would love to work for 1000Mercis after graduating, whether in the UK or back in Paris
The Culture
Excellent!
Paris is one of the most expensive places to live in the world, but my placement company was understanding and socialising was fully paid for by the company
It's Paris, who can complain?!
usually every other week
