    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Tremendously. The vacation placement scheme provided me with an extremely useful insight into the culture of the firm and the way in which the firm operates. Everyone made me feel extremely welcome and went out of their way to make sure that I had valuable experience during my two weeks at the firm. I was very impressed.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Very valued. I reported directly back to a trainee solicitor in the firm and assisted on real matters. I was given a great deal of support and learnt a lot from the experience.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • A great deal. At no point did I just feel like I was there 'just for work experience'. I felt integrated into the team from day one.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A huge amount. I'm studying on the LPC now and regularly come across issues I learnt about during my placement.
