  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Interesting. Good work/life balance

  • Very welcoming office

  • I had a manager I talked to several times a day and senior people around me to whom I could ask questions.

  • A few dull moments, but mostly busy whilst at work but home on time.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was trusted to develop and test the program I was writing, and it is now going to be used by the company.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learned to program in VB.Net, I learned general office skills, such as keeping track of tasks, reporting to my manager etc.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Relaxed but got on with the work. Employees are generally interested in what theyre doing.

  • Very well organised

  • I had a one-on-one manager to help me whenever i needed it.

  • I received a job offer after undergoing another set of interviews towarsds the end of the placement.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Several nights spent eating out or in the pub

  • Not too bad. Very well subsidised company house in which to live.

  • Not too bad
