  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • It was not only me learning from my colleagues, they also came to me to ask questions about my field of knowledge, and my team was fantastic.

  • I was supported throughout the year and helped to achieve all the objectives I had set myself at the start of the placement.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As previously mentioned, I was performing graduate level work just the same as many of my colleagues, and I was always trusted to go away and do my work without being scrutinised at any point.

  • My time at Dstl has left me with valuable experience that will serve me well for my future career wherever I go, as well as the training invested in me and the confidence I built in my own abilities from the work I undertook.
