    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The insight was really enjoyable, not only socially but also work-wise.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt valued as my supervisors and HR all knew my name but at the same time, as there were so many people on the scheme, I could not feel as valued as I may have had there been fewer people.

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I received a lot of help, especially through my trainee buddies.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I developed will not help much with my degree but more so with my future career as it gave me grounding as to what it takes to be a good commercial lawyer.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was organised well; there was enough work and there were well organised events at regular intervals.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and friendly. There was not a single person I did not enjoy talking to.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The trainees guided me well throughout the scheme, although I felt a bit more training should have been organised at the start of scheme e.g. more IT training.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The insight very much confirmed that I would love a full time role with the firm because I experienced the working atmosphere fully. But I feel I do not know much about the substantive work levels that I would do as a trainee because the role of interns was not too strenuous.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The insight was the best way I could possibly learn about the culture.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • The insight confirmed that this is the career path for me, so it was extremely valuable.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Yes, I was paid an allowance per week.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes there were very many opportunities for meeting members of the firm; perhaps too many to keep count of!

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • All events organised were very fun and a learning experiencing at the same time. I was impressed by many locations HR were able to take us to.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, and I was even able to get involved in one of them!

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes, it is the best insight I have done and that is why I took the job offer with the firm.

    5/5
