  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Working for DSTL gave me an opportunity to increase and expand the knowledge that I acquired at university. Also, I have gained knowledge and extensive experience in RF and MATLAB software, an opportunity I may have previously missed. This experience will be very beneficial for my next two years at university, my future career and for my individual project.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere in our office was great we had a lot of fun and it was very relaxing place.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • There was a two days induction training to get to know about the company overall, which was good but we didn't know as individual what to do in our first week. However, DSTL taking our feedbacks on board and they provide a booklet for students and new graduates as well to guide them what training and courses do they need to take and where to find them on the system. That allows them to get more familiar with the system and not chasing the line manager every time.

    4/5
