    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Breathtaking work goes on here and we were allowed to see every inch of it. Interns were able to choose which area they wanted to look into and had opportunities to talk to lots of people

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • There were only 5 of us so we got a personal treatment. The staff looking after us were very friendly and great.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Received a pack in the post a month before with useful information and lots of documentation and information throughout the stay there which was the best thing. We didn't feel lost at the firm.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I now know which area I want to continue focusing on as I can imagine the possible career paths which it will lead to. It also helped me decide on which masters program will be most useful.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very structured at the start. We received calendar invites for all events and a map. Towards the end we were allowed to explore whichever areas most interested us.This was perhaps my most favourite aspect.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very friendly. Great to be around such smart people who always took their time in explaining what they were doing for you.The office was easy to get around and lots of social events in the evenings. They tried to make work a place you want to be rather than have to be.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Many training and development sessions which were either 1 on 10 or 1 on 1.I really can't believe that we got 1:1 sessions. Perhaps my favourite aspect right there.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • 100% - the second half of the experience was very useful in figuring out what a full time role would be like. They also had a presentation on the different roles on offer.
