The Role
Enjoyed the experience. Learned a lot and the time spent was enjoyable.
I worked on several high priority projects and felt my contribution was valued.
Everyone in the office is very helpful and willing to give you as much time as you need.
Some periods were very busy, but across the year the balance was quite good.
Very surprised by the level of responsibility.
A large amount of what I learned is very specific to their product and database, however the general SQL and C# skills are very useful.
The Company
Lively and positive office atmosphere.
We had a long 8 week training programme, followed by a transition into the office environment.
Long up front training period, and throughout the year the company ran weekly training sessions. All of these sessions were recorded so if you couldn't make it to one you could watch them back later.

Working from home
I will continue working remotely part time while I complete my degree.
The Culture
Everyone often went out at least once a week for drinks.
I live nearby so there was no impact to my cost of living. Crawley is pretty affordable but be prepared to spend a bit if you go out in Brighton.
Crawley has a few pubs and clubs, Brighton is ~30mins away by train.
There were several events held throughout the year.
