  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Definitely very good.

  • I was working mostly independently so I didn't speak to many others.

  • Manager was very helpful whenever I had an issue.

  • Sometimes there was a lack of things to do due to IT issues but mostly I was busy

  • Not much responsibility, I was working on a project separate from everyone else.

  • Learned how to use OpenCL, which I will be using in a course this year.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Quiet, but not oppressively so. Towards the end of the day people would chat.

  • There were new starter events and things like that. It would have been nice to have been put on some more mailing lists by default.

  • They supported me in learning technologies I had not used before.

  • I'm not sure, but they do hire interns as graduates apparently.

  • Cambridge has crazy rent, but then I found a place on less than a week's notice.
