The Role
I spent a year working in the ergonomics department at NTCE and had a great year, the work I did was very interesting and challenging and I would definitely recommend applying for a placement at NTCE
Once I had settled in at work and understood my project I was given control of my main project and as the year went on I was given more responsibility, I felt highly valued by the people I worked with.
Getting support was very easy but I wasn't asked often how everything was going, If I needed help I went and talked to the people who would be able to help best. I liked it that way, I was left to get on with the work I had to do and if I needed help then I could talk to people.
On the whole I always had work to do but it wasn't too much. Towards the end of the year I was given lots of responsibility on an important new project so I struggled to get all the work done but I did over-time when I needed to to make sure the work was done.
From very early on I was given complete control of my main project which lasted most of the year.
Because I enjoyed my year at NTCE so much I am looking to apply for the Grad schemes across the automotive industry so I would say the year at NTCE will be invaluable when applying for jobs as a graduate
