  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It's the most coeducational and supportive job I've ever had.

  • Everyone is very friendly and works collaboratively for the good of the business, rather than for individual credit/gain.

  • Management were very attentive to making my experience as positive and fulfilling as possible.

  • The workload varies and is very flexible, I can take on as much or as little as I feel comfortable with each day.

  • I have personally laised on behalf of the company with other businesses, and have been tasked with looking after mission critical infrastructure.

  • The professional and social skills I have learnt will help me assimilate into working life much easier after my studies.

  • The atmosphere is work centric but everyone is always free for a chat.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The permenant staff, contractors and students were all treated the same and all socialised together freely.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Reading is an affordable place to live, a little on the quiet side compared to living in the bigger cities.

  • Reading's night life is lacking, but its very close to london which has the best night life in the country.

  • There are loads of social and sporting groups organised by staff.
