    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had such a varied and rich experience that I was almost never bored!

  • The entire process built my character to an extent like never before, and I very much notice the difference.

  • My managers were always there to help me out and guide me when I needed them but there was also a good balance of independence and being told what to do.

  • It varied tremendously depending on the week.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Thankfully, not a huge deal for my first placement (which is a good thing). But I also knew that if I did a good job it would help the company so much.

  • To no end. The amount of things I learned from this internship is unbelievable.

  • Very relaxed, friendly and welcoming but also hard-working!

  • It was organised right from the start, but also gave me plenty of time to do what I wanted.

  • They gave me so much support and guidance that I don't think they could have done more short of a formal training program.

  • Only finished my first year so can't really answer this, but the programmes on offer are very appealing

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • No, mostly because of the location. But within the office it was always fun!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • No socialising, just because of the location! But the cost of living was pretty reasonable compared to university and the landlord was so nice!
