The Role
It was an extremely enjoyable experience being on placement at Morgan Advanced Materials plc
I felt valued by my colleagues
Support and guidance was provided when ever it was needed and I found it very easy to talk to management
I had a very good balance of different projects to work on through out the year
I was given a lot of responsibility on my placement through the various projects I was given to manage. However, I always knew there was support if it was needed.
I believe the skills I have picked up whilst on placement at Morgan Advanced Materials plc will be extremely beneficial to my final year of study and future career.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office I worked in was very good, it made it very easy to work in.
The placement year was organised very well, especially within the department I was working in,
Throughout the year the company provided a great range of both internal and external training opportunities which were very beneficial to both my work at Morgan and my university work.

Working from home
The future employment prospects are extremely good, after completing the year placement there is an opportunity to progress onto the 2 year graduate scheme at the company.
The Culture
There was a good social scene among the other placement students and the graduates on the graduate scheme with nights out organised regularly.
The cost of living within the area was good, it was easy to balance going out and still paying for necessities.
The nightlife in the area I lived was good, with plenty of pubs and bars around
There was plenty of opportunities to get involved with activities outside of work, especially within the department I worked in.
