    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very good placement! I had an eight week placement involving a real mix of declines that will benefit my growth within the engineering and business world.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The employees at National Grid were very accommodating and there was a very smooth transition. All members of staff were very forthcoming with information and were available for meetings etc. The project was something that is going to be continued and all staff were keen to help where they could.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Initial inductions were made to the project and department etc and management were always there if needed. More importantly, management allowed me to carryout the project in a "real world" scenario i.e. they wasn't holding my hand all the time.
