    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A really good year, I learnt a lot and devloped professionally and personally throughout the year. I was given real responsibility and built many contacts through the company

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I worked in 2 great teams, everyone was friendly and supportive. I was trusted with some high profile reports and got client exposure

  • Both the line managers I had during the year were very supportive, helped me settle in and developed me as a person. I would be happy to work for them again!

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days were long and always had a lot to do, this was good though because I was actively contributing to the team and was given real responsibility!

  • I was given support so never felt out of my depth but I was given the opportunity to take on real responsibility alongside high graduates.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Recieved a lot of on the job training which will help me when I graduate. My communication and time management skills were greatly enhanced during the year

  • Professional and hard working, I met some great people and there was always a good team atmosphere

  • Management support on my project and also a lot of support from HR both during initial training and through the year, there were several events organised which allowed me to meet the other interns at the company.

  • Given training initially but there was also training on the job.

  • Some company events organised within the project but also HR to bring the placement students together

  • London is expensive but a great place to be!

  • Travelled around some of the UKs main cities with work- always good nightlife

  • Opportunities organised by HR for the interns, and participated in several ofthe graduate social events. Also did charity days and played sport with collegues
