  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • There was a really good internship structure and community with the other interns.

    • I liked that we were all doing separate and useful projects as opposed to 'intern work'.

    • There was a great team system and I had a manager as well as a personal mentor.

    • I had an ongoing project that lasted for the whole of my internship

    • I managed my own time to some extent and got to design my own program, but it was reviewed at every step.

    • I had no prior coding experience but I was taught python and java from scratch which will be extremely helpful for the next year of my degree.

    • Friendly and welcoming, if full of slightly odd software engineers.

    • The internship was really well structured.

    • I was given a lot of my mentors time and effort.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes there was a pretty good atmosphere considering they were all computer scientists.

    • In London so not cheap but everything was subsidised.

    • Enfield not a party scene

    • There was lots of sport and board games, sadly neither of which I'm particularly into.
