    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The placement was very useful in giving me an insight as to what goes on there. I was allowed to view a variety of things at the placement like surgery which I thoroughly enjoyed.

    • This was mainly because I was very under qualified to be working here. I didn't go in there expecting to be valued as I had nothing to offer then.

    • I was offered a lot of advice which guided me towards my academic choices.

    • The information that I got provided helped me choose certain paths I wanted to take and therefore enabled me to advance further in those areas.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • There were a certain number of assignments during the day which I did which eventually fell into routine.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • It was fine. No violence in or around the building. everything was calm and quiet, There was always a sense of excitement around us.

    • I received no investment from the company, This is mainly because I didn't need to be invested in. My placement only required my presence.

    • The insight was a direct windows as to how my life would would look like if I were to be in it as a full time career.

    • Extremely, since it is already well known for its culture. This gave me the evidence to support these statements.

    • This placement helped me decide what I really wanted to do. I was initially sightly unsure as to what I wanted to do in the future but this made it all right.

    • I volunteered.

    • No. I was pretty much alone during the placement.

    • Yeah. They usually have meet ups outside of work where they can socialize.

    • Yes definitely. I had tonnes of fun during the placement.
