The Role
My internship was a great introduction to project management and to have a general insight into the translation industry. I developed my project management skills, as well as my time management and multi-tasking skills. I also did some translations from time to time.
I was given great support and encouragement by my colleagues. They always offered help if I wasn't sure about something.
Everyone was responsive if I had any questions. It was easy to get along with my team and the company's internal communication is excellent.
I was busy enough but not overwhelmed by too much work. It was a manageable workflow, despite of tight deadlines and some urgent requests.
I managed individual clients' translations, but also checked the translation quality for bigger projects. I also did some translations and proofreading of documents.
It was a logical and appropriate sequel to my translation studies. The training I received to meet the high standards and great service of the company is an invaluable asset for future job opportunities.
The Company

The Culture
Yes, the company has a social team who organises social events and the usual after-work drinks.
London is expensive but it's the price to pay to live in such an exciting city.
