    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Excellent team, enjoyed all aspects of the internship. I hopefully will have the opportunity to come back!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very much so, I was given a variety of tasks where I was able to contribute to client work. My manager said I was an asset to the team.

  • Always at hand to help out or further explain things if there were any issues.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Generally I was very busy, working through lunch was common (although I was unfazed by this).

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I feel like I was given a lot of responsibility! It probably helped that I came from a university background which meant I had a good understanding of the pensions market and therefore was able to excel.

  • It has been invaluable work experience, and has confirmed by ambitions to work in Investments!

  • A good combination of hard work with some banter added in for good measure :)

  • Yes, in general very well.

  • Not sure if I have a job yet (it's the last day). However, I believe the company will be reducing the number of graduates in future years and instead outsourcing more work offshore.
