    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really loved working for such a big company and one that I like to wear and know off. I felt proud to say I worked for the company as it has such a good reputation - and well deserved at that!

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • They were nice but they made the boundaries clear such as I wasn't invited in to important meetings or general discussions which made me realise that in their eyes I was just an intern student, nothing more.

    2/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Adidas is well known for the support they give students but I didn't really get any support or guidance and even when I asked they were quick to answer and shrug me off.

    1/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The quarter was a very busy department so there was always a mountain of work to get through.

    1/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • All my work on the finances had to be second-checked by the assistant manager so I always felt that they didn't really trust me and had to check everything in case I'd made a mistake.

    1/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The experience definatlety benefited me and developed my employability.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • There were a majority of lads in the quarter who constantly talked of sport and other boring things so it could be quite dull socially.

    1/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I must admit that the placement was seamlessly set up. Adidas were totally in control, punctual and reliable.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I went on one course which wasn't hugely beneficial or helpful or relevant either.

    2/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    Sports and Social Club

    Subsidised/Company Gym

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I'm not sure I would consider going back really. If the opportunity arose, I would have to think hard.

    1/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Majorly the employees were male so me, as a female, didn't really hit it off with them.

    2/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Most people live in Manchester which is expensive but a great city to live in - so great I've moved in permanetly there!

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I personally prefer the cinema or bowling or a meal but I've heard that the nightlife is unbeatable.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • A lot of sports events not too much for fashion-minded females.
