    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Partners always have their doors open (unless they are simply too busy) and willing to provide advice or have a conversation about what is going on in the department and the firm as a whole. The social events and "buddy system" with the current trainee solicitors is a great resource for answering any questions one has about the role of a trainee in the firm. Vacation scheme students are additionally welcome to attend the many sporting events that take place each week at the firm, which is a great way to meet people from other departments in the firm.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • There is a substantial amount of time given to the social schedule for the vacation scheme, which provides a plethora of networking opportunities as well as providing a chance to relax after work.

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • A sports schedule was given to all vacation scheme students, of which they were free to join in with. Vacation scheme students were also welcomed to celebratory drinks at the end of the second week in light of the firm's success in increased turnover from last year's figures.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
