  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great exposure into a commercial finance role that offered a lot of responsibility with the opportunity to get involved with different/complex projects.

  • Month-end cycle with various request to help analyse regional market.

  • Responsible for providing commentary on the Regional performance, an active role during the budget period, as well as creating various market analyses reports.

  • Experience of variance analysis, various management/leadership training days organised, advanced IBM Cognos training.

  • Very approachable employees within different areas of the company. Great team spirit with regular arranged team events.

  • Very well organised with exposure to senior levels of finance and various training courses as part of the intern programme.

  • A lot of opportunity with advanced Cognos training, personal mentor development, and management/leadership and public speaking sessions.

  • No graduate scheme in place.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Difficult to arrange due to fellow students living in different areas.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Proximity to London meant high costs of living and regular visits to Windsor were not cheap.

  • Better night life slightly further a field.
