The Role
I had a great year!
I was always asked for help by multiple managers and collegues that valued my input. I was recognised with awards for some of my work.
I was given support when needed but not micro managed
My workload vaired. Sometimes I was overstreched and had to stay late.
I was given an expectional amount of responsibility and was surprised on how much I was trusted from the off set. I was allowed to run my own projects with substantional budgets.
This year will help me huge amounts when I get back to uni. Being part of a business for a year gives you a huge insight into business and makes what you learn at uni real and relevant.
The Company
I worked in a very quiet office, the atmosphere could have been much better.
It wasn't set up the best but the running of it was very smooth.
I was allowed to go on courses and was sent abroad for a week to work with another site which was great.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Financial Bonus
I will be applying for a grad scheme with them
The Culture
I lived with other placements students who worked with Johnson and Johnson, it was a lot of fun.
Leeds is cheap!
Leeds has one if not the best nightlife in the UK - so much going on
Not really that many acitivites outside of work at all unless you organised it yourself.
